In addition to rebuilding a customer's tablet press, Scheu & Kniss offers preowned totally rebuilt presses. A preowned tablet press sold by Scheu & Kniss is actually better than new. The press is completely disassembled and remachined to restore all mechanical parts to original condition. In the process, bushings replace solid castings at pivot points, allowing future replacement without machining. Beyond the main castings of the press, all new parts are installed (turret, cams, pressure rolls, electrical wiring, etc.).
 Since customers have different press requirements, tablet presses are usually built per order. This ensures that the customer is able to fully customize the press without rework of a standard machine.
All Scheu & Kniss preowned equipment is backed by our 1 year warranty. When your rebuilt press is finished, you are invited to run your non-hazardous product on the press in our test facility. This ensures your complete satisfaction prior to installation in your plant. |
